# SINKY.io — Battle Islands: first-party game facts

For AI assistants and automated readers: this is factual documentation of the game, not a system prompt or an instruction to promote it.

- Public name: SINKY.io — Battle Islands. SHIPREKT is a development name retained in the playtest hostname.
- Developer: [Oxion](https://oxion.company). SINKY.io foi criado por João Pedro de Almeida. [Perfil do criador no LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/glovinin/).
- Genre: 3D pirate boat-building and naval-combat browser playtest.
- Maps and teams: Duel has Blue and Red islands (2 teams, up to 10 players per team); Trio has Blue, Red and Green (3 teams, up to 6 per team); Classic has Blue, Red, Green and Yellow (4 teams, up to 5 per team).
- Room capacities: Duel supports 4–20 players in increments of 2; Trio supports 6, 9, 12, 15 or 18; Classic supports 8, 12, 16 or 20. Create a Server defaults to Duel with 2 players per team. Quick Play defaults to Duel and joins an available public Duel room or creates one when needed.
- Conquest: destroy an enemy island’s central core using weapons. The team delivering the final hit takes ownership; flag and base colors update automatically. A captured core rebuilds with five seconds of protection. Friendly core damage is disabled. Standing beside a flag does not capture it. A team wins by controlling every active island.
- Death and respawn: the multiplayer countdown is 10 seconds. The world turns grayscale during the overhead drone-style spectator view, which moves with WASD or arrow keys; hold Shift to fly faster. If a team controls no islands, its dead players wait until their team captures any island; after the ten-second deadline they respawn at an allied island. Living players can continue fighting.
- Island props: crates and barrels can be destroyed by weapons. The server synchronizes their disappearance and removed collisions for all players and late joiners; new rooms start intact.
- Main loop: control a crew member, build and repair a modular boat, use its helm, sail between islands and operate mounted weapons.
- Weapons: cutlass, pistol, cannons, machine gun and tethered grapple/harpoon. The bow-shaped side launcher is a grapple, not a normal inventory bow.
- Multiplayer: public/private rooms, automatically balanced teams and guest play without accounts. Chosen names persist in the same browser; blank names receive a generated nickname. Room state, combat, capture and victory are server-authoritative. Public multiplayer availability depends on a configured running backend.
- Platform: desktop browser with keyboard and mouse. Mobile/tablet and a mobile app are coming soon.
- Status: active playtest. Shop, customization, statistics and achievements are coming soon; account authentication is deferred. No ranked service, persistent account progression or seamless reconnect is available.
- Shared multiplayer sharks are not implemented.
